The UK-14PM concreteoscope allows:

The UK-14PM device is intended for:
to determine the strength of concrete in prefabricated and monolithic concrete and reinforced concrete products and structures by correlation dependences linking the speed of propagation of ultrasonic vibrations with the strength of concrete in the range from 10 to 50 MPa with an error not exceeding 12%;
control of concrete hardening in prefabricated and monolithic concrete and iron-concrete structures during heat treatment and hardening in natural conditions;
quality control of refractory concrete products;
determination of the strength of bricks and silicate stones in compression;
determining the speed of propagation of elastic longitudinal waves in solid rocks by measuring the propagation time of ultrasonic testing.

In concrete scopes UK-14PM there are two modes of operation. In the first mode of operation, the device automatically measures the time during which the leading edge of the ultrasonic pulse passes a known base in the material of the sample and the product, on the basis of which the speed of wave propagation is calculated. In the second mode of operation, UK-14PM measures the rise time of the first half-wave of the received ultrasonic pulse.
Technical characteristics of UK-14PM:

The range of speeds is from 330 m / s to 6500 m / s.
The range of measurement of the propagation time of ultrasonic testing is from 20 μs to 8800 μs.
Indicator scale resolution:

- in the range from 900 μs to 8800 μs - 1.0 μs.
The limits of the permissible absolute error in measuring the propagation time of the ultrasonic probe are ± (0.01t + 0.1) μs, where t is the measured time.
The measuring range of the duration of the leading edge of the ultrasonic pulse is from 3 μs to 30 μs.
The resolution of the UK-14PM indicator scale when measuring the duration of the leading edge of an ultrasonic pulse is 0.1 μs.
The limits of the permissible absolute error in measuring the duration of the leading edge of the ultrasonic pulse are ± (0.05 Tmeas + 0.1) μs, where Tmeas is the measured rise time.
The absolute sensitivity of the UK-14PM concreteoscope is 110 dB.
Power supplies - three galvanic cells A343 of the PRIMA type with a rated voltage of 4.5 V.
The current consumed by the electronic unit is no more than 100 mA.
