Will not interfere with satellite signal. Operates off 110 volts. I strongly recommended that a switch controlled GFI protected outlet be used for a couple reasons. One is for protection against the elements. And two, to save on energy when not in use or snowing. Simply place on upper back side of the dish about 3/4 of the way up & plug it in. Made in the USA & constructed with hardened heavy duty plastic.

The strong magnet holds the heater in place with no worries of it falling off or being blown away like those glue on vinyl heaters.
Needless to say, this will NOT work on non-metallic dishes.

, it usually takes on average 30 to 45 minutes to get my signal back, but it always comes back. My dish is mounted on my secondary roof so no getting to it once the snow starts flying. Just stating this so
don't expect snow & ice to melt off immediately if you have forgotten to turn it on before that storm hits. Have patience, it will get the job done.
