Your TV must be a digital TV to use this digital antenna. If it is an analog TV, you will need a digital converter box for your TV.
You MUST rescan your TV channels any time a new antenna is attached. Your previously saved channels are synced to your previous antenna. You must resync the new antenna with the TV by rescanning the channels. Simply connect the new antenna without rescanning the TV channels won't work! It is also highly recommended you rescan the TV channels after repositioning your antenna.

According to Google map, straight distance from Houston, Texas to Dallas, Texas is around 220 miles. Can people in Houston receive TV programs from Dallas? ABSOLUTELY NOT, regardless what antenna you use.
An antenna, as a receiver, is only good when TV signals can reach it. We put 3,600 miles in the title simply because other sellers make false claim and many buyers don't know that, and think our antenna is not a good one. In fact, our antenna will give high quality 4K/1080p with crystal clear HD pictures.

Step 1: connect the end(f-male) of attached coaxial cable to the ANT/IN connector on the back of the TV or DVB-T tuner.
Step 2: In the TV's setup menu, set the tuner mode to "Antenna" or "Air". for more detailed instructions, please refer to your TV manual.
Step 3: In the Tv's setup menu, set TV to "scan" for channels. this can sometimes be listed as auto-program, auto-scan, channel search or channel scan. consult the TV manual for detailed instructions.
Step 4: if reception is sporadic, try moving the antenna to another location and rescanning the TV until optimal position is found.
Step 5: fix the antenna at the optimal position you found.

2. If you use a flat HDTV, please go through your TV manual to make sure your TV comes with built-in tuner for freeview.
